Research Consultant (Tech/Financial Services) – Chicago Rival Group, comprising Rival Technologies and Reach3 Insights, is a global insights firm leveraging AI-powered mobile messaging-based conversational insights to deliver qualitative and quantitative consumer insights. As a Research Consultant at Reach3, you will: Assist in managing all stages of the market research project cycle, including design and development of questionnaires and discussion guides. Oversee data collection and ensure strict quality control. Identify and report analytical findings. Visualize and report quantitative and qualitative findings. Write and polish reports to deliver high-quality deliverables. Work with marketing research software packages. Proactively nurture and develop strategic client relationships. Collaborate effectively with team members across the organization. Bring an exceptional drive, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong organizational and detail orientation. Reach3’s next Research Consultant will bring: Hands‑on research exposure in questionnaire design, sample frame development, field management, analysis planning, data visualization, and creative report writing. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Passion to learn, achieve, and accomplish great things. Skill with technology, social media, and online market research methodologies and platforms. Ability to find the story in numbers and extract meaningful insights from qualitative and quantitative data. Creative data visualization and reporting skills. This may be the right opportunity for you if you have: A university or college degree. 2+ years of relevant, hands‑on work experience, preferably with a supplier‑side organization. Background in Technology and Financial Services industries. Exposure to sophisticated market research practices across quantitative and qualitative methods. Experience managing end‑to‑end market research projects, including questionnaire design, data analysis, visualization, reporting, and software usage. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Analytical, logical, and reasoning orientation. Strong numeric and problem‑solving orientation. Strong client‑service orientation. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 USD based on skillset and experience. Home office stipend. Monthly Internet and cellphone stipend.
