As a member of our Data & Analytics team, you'll have the opportunity to influence how information is leveraged across the organization, helping teams make smarter decisions and drive business success through reliable, accessible, and impactful data solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Product Ownership & Delivery- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team.
- Maintain, refine, and prioritize the backlog for data products, reporting solutions, and analytics enhancements.
- Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure work items are actionable, prioritized appropriately, and aligned with departmental goals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution reviews.
- Monitor progress, identify dependencies, and escalate risks when appropriate.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects to ensure solutions are feasible, effective, and aligned with user expectations.
- Provide business context and user scenarios that support data modeling, reporting, visualization, and pipeline development.
- Participate in solution design discussions and help ensure successful delivery of business value.
- Lead MEM's data governance efforts and support the organization's journey toward a stronger data-driven culture.
- Maintain documentation related to data assets, including definitions, metadata, ownership, and dependencies.
- Support consistency, quality, and alignment across data products and reporting solutions.
- Monitor existing data assets and identify opportunities for enhancement, optimization, or retirement.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and test scenarios.
- Validate solutions to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with documented requirements.
- Document issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and verify successful remediation.
- Support implementation activities and monitor early production performance and adoption.
- Assist in developing release communications, user guides, training materials, and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate or support training sessions that help users maximize value from new data capabilities.
- Gather and analyze feedback to identify future enhancements and improvement opportunities.
- Help define and monitor key performance indicators that measure business value, adoption, and effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations that support ongoing improvement of tools, processes, and delivery practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product ownership, or a related role.
- Experience working within Agile or product-centric environments preferred.
- Experience supporting or leading data governance initiatives preferred.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable deliverables.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technology or data-related solutions.
