Maintenance Technician

Title: Maintenance Technician Job Duties: The Maintenance Technician must posses the ability to perform a variety of skilled duties in the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files. Schedule: Full-Time Qualifications: A high school graduate/GED preferred. A valid California driver’s license is required. At least three (3) years in one of the following fields is preferred: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must possess the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently. The efforts have created a space for quiet and serenity as well. Weather permitting, staff often take clients to the park for group therapy, meditation, and yoga.
