We're looking for a driven, high-energy Sales Representative to generate new business through high-volume outbound calling, activating retail agent relationships and building pipeline in support of our Regional Sales team.

This is a phone-first, high-activity role focused on prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline generation. It's a step below our Regional Sales Manager position, and an excellent launching point for someone early in their insurance sales career who wants to build a foundation in wholesale distribution and grow into a territory-owning role over time.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the phone, enjoys the energy of high call volume, and wants to build a career in insurance sales from the ground up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DRIVE OUTBOUND ACTIVITY

•  Conduct a high volume of outbound calls daily to prospective retail agents to generate new business opportunities.

•  Meet or exceed daily call and talk-time targets, along with monthly lead generation goals.

BUILD PIPELINE

•  Prospect and qualify new agency relationships to build a strong, consistent pipeline for conversion.

•  Educate agents on the platform's value proposition — access to 75+ admitted and E&S markets through a single platform, with technology that eliminates the re-keying, phone calls, and days-long wait times of traditional wholesale.

SUPPORT AGENT RELATIONSHIPS

•  Serve as an initial point of contact for prospective agents, gathering key information and identifying appetite.

•  Schedule and hand off qualified opportunities to Regional Sales Managers for deeper relationship management.

MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS

•  Log all call activity, leads, and opportunities accurately and consistently in the Company's CRM system.

•  Follow up persistently with leads and prospects to keep opportunities moving through the pipeline.

COLLABORATE CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY

•  Partner with Regional Sales Managers to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.

•  Relay agent feedback to sales leadership to support broader sales and marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

•  6 months to 1+ years of experience in a phone-based sales, call center, or customer service role.

•  Comfortable with high call volume and a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

•  Excellent verbal communication skills and phone presence.

•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•  Applicable state insurance producer license required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe following hire.

PREFERRED

•  Insurance industry experience, particularly commercial P&C.

•  Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and comfort working in a technology-forward environment.

•  Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow into a Regional Sales Manager role over time.

Compensation:  $55,000 base + commission — top performers earn $90K–$100K+ annually.
