Patient Tray Line Attendant

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is seeking a candidate for a part-time Patient Tray Line Attendant. Great starting pay rate of $15.00/hr. for the 10a – 6:30p shift. Applicant must have the ability to read, understand, assemble trays and understand patient meal tickets (training provided).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of routine duties in the kitchen and patient trayline assembly areas related to the preparation, service and transport of food
• Replenishes supplies and food items for patient trayline to assure adequate quantities and no interruption of service during trayline operations
• Organizes work to be ready for prompt start of patient trayline; maintains pre-established trayline pace
• Maintains cleanliness and proper sanitation of work areas and coolers
• Assess temperatures of food for sanitation purposes
• Washes dishes, pots and pans and operates dish machine, when needed
• Ensures proper food and sanitation standards to comply with federal, state and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and push food carts
• Previous food service experience a plus
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Rotating weekends and holiday shifts are required
