BI Partner - Commercial Decision Partner (Regional Sales)

BI Partner – Commercial Decision Partner (Regional Sales) The BI Partner (Commercial Decision Partner — Regional) is an embedded analytical partner supporting regional sales teams. This role performs ad hoc and structured analysis using Claude and BIA tools, translates regional business questions into insight, assists in building analytical narratives, and supports the DI brief-writing process for recurring regional needs. Where the BI Partner has the bandwidth and technical capability, they may also build straightforward single-step agents — subject to completing the mandatory DI intake process, in partnership with the Manager, before starting any build. The BI Partner role is designed for strong analytical talent who are growing into the full CDP model — developing the business judgment to move from analysis execution to analytical recommendation ownership. Candidates must reside in the Atlanta area to be considered for this role. Key Skills Required Strong analytical mindset, decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to influence – communicate clearly and concisely to gain alignment and drive action across varying audiences Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Time management and project management skills a must! Attention to details and dedication to getting things right Maintain high level of organization, time management and project management skills, commitment to follow through, enthusiasm, and motivation Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions Perform ad hoc analysis for DVPs and Regional CDP Manager using Claude, Domo, and available data sources — owning output quality and applying business judgment to validate results. Support the Manager in building regional business review, ABP and selling tool narratives — assembling analytical components, validating data accuracy, and preparing presentation materials. Assist with DI build briefs for regional use cases — documenting the business need, expected inputs/outputs, and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Manager. For straightforward single-step automations within the BI Partner's capability, may build directly — must complete DI intake meeting (led by Manager) before starting. Communicate analytical capabilities to regional field teams; serve as insights representative in customer meetings. Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Education/Experience Required: 2+ years of commercial or business analytics experience Strong statistical skills; proficiency with Excel, data visualization, and BI tools Comfort with AI-powered analytics tools (Claude or similar) Experience supporting a CPG sales or commercial team in an analytical capacity Familiarity with syndicated CPG data Preferred: Familiarity with VIP data Comfort with simple agent building using Claude Code or similar tools Characteristics Needed to be Successful Passion for service and authentic pride in work. Self‑starter who does not wait to be told what to do. Adaptable to rapid change and able to shift plans as needed. Ability to establish and retain trust across the organization.
