Acquisitions Specialist – Insurance Sales Professional Mary Henry State Farm 5800 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40291 Position Overview As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective customers, and growing the agency through consultative sales conversations. You will work with leads, referrals, and outbound prospecting efforts to uncover customer needs and recommend personalized insurance solutions. Success is measured by activity, production, and the ability to consistently build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Licensing Requirements Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1 start (full support provided) Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of start date We provide licensing guidance, study resources, and onboarding support throughout the process Responsibilities Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, lead follow-up, networking, and community outreach Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage needs and protection gaps Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers Follow up proactively to convert opportunities into new business Track activity, production, and sales results to meet or exceed established goals Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Collaborate with team members to support agency growth initiatives Ensure compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations Qualifications Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the business Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented Organized with strong follow-up and time-management abilities Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment Previous sales, insurance, marketing, business development, or customer-facing experience preferred Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives Uncapped earning potential tied to production Full support through the licensing process Ongoing training, coaching, and professional development Supportive team environment with strong leadership Long-term career growth opportunities Compensation $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Mission Statement My Team's Mission Is To Help People Manage The Risks Of Everyday Life, Recover From The Unexpected And Realize Their Dreams.
