Data Scientist

What you’ll do:You will be an integral part of a team developing and deploying groundbreakingdata-based solutions to complex problems. You’ll collaborate with data scienceteammates, talented engineers and product experts to produce solutions withdirect impact on company performance.This role will be based in the Bellevue or New York office. Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest. This is an exempt position.Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are:Job DescriptionWith experience in data science, machine learning, statistical modeling, and/ordeep learning you will bring a passion for problem-solving, turning data intoactionable insights, and collaboration with supporting teams. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other data science tools are essential.Communicate technical concepts and findings to both technical/non-technical team membersCollaborate with Engineering and Product teams to understand productrequirements and help create optimal/scalable solutionsHelp design and implement scalable data science-based solutions, dataprocessing, and machine learning pipelinesWrite scalable and clean codeWhat you’ll bringEducation in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or arelated technical field with 6+ years of overall experience2+ years of work experience in creating data science-based solutionsGenuine curiosity and a growth mindset – you actively seek out newtechniques, tools, and domains beyond your current role and can point toconcrete examples of self-directed learningProactiveness and self-motivation – you follow through on tasks withoutneeding close supervision, ask good questions when blocked, and look forways to contribute beyond your immediate assignmentCreative problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in statisticalanalysis and hypothesis testingExcellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex datafindings to technical and non-technical stakeholdersSignificant experience with SQL, Python, and machine learning packages(e.g., sklearn, keras) Experience in implementing machine learning pipelinesWhat we would like to seeMS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or arelated technical fieldMarTech/AdTech experience preferred; expertise with AdTech SSPs is astrong plus.Experience in Neural Networks, Deep Learning, TensorFlow, and/orPyTorchExperience with Spark/PySparkExperience with latency-sensitive scalable machine learning modelsIn support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
