Finance Controller

Position: Finance ControllerKey responsibilitiesFinancials1. Review financial results for the manufacturing plants2. Preparation of Management Information for the plants3. COGS analytical report generation and publication4. Review and sign off of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for plants5. Review of FCCS reporting, and annual signed financials.6. Financial data for operations7. Manage the process for financial forecasting, budgets and monthly outlook8. Preparation of all financial reports. Oversee treasury and insurance activities9. Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations10. Implement and oversee internal controls. Manage internal and external audits11. Weekly Flash Report Templates and organize meetings with all HOD’s and explain variances12. Input and completion of the monthly management letter13. Report cost savings initiatives and progress for operations monthly.14. Management of CAPEX spending, approvals and reporting monthlyAudits1. Gather, review and submit information requested from external auditors, and resolve all the queries.2. Coordinate with internal auditor and resolve the queries3. Coordinate for any other type of auditsInventories Coordinate stock takes and reporting of resultsCost Rolls Coordinate with all involved for the annual cost rolls and publish resultsAccounting Warranty and Price accruals Excess and Obsolete process, review and results Variance CapitalizationTaxationReview Federal and state tax, Local and Freeport Exemption liabilities. Budget1. Responsible for complete guidance and review of the manufacturing plants.Skills and Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance minimum2. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint3. US GAAP working knowledge4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills5. 5+ years Controller Experience6. 10+ years Manufacturing Accounting with proven increased responsibility7. CPA or MBA professional certification, preferred8. Bilingual English/Spanish
