Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities

• Setting up hydraulic press brake.
• Ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently for production needs.
• Some welding required.
• Follow shop drawings and sketches using correct tolerances provided.
• Perform correct bend radius, bump roll, arc, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal and structural shapes.
• Using correct tooling to perform bend radius for material thickness.
• Operation of progressive back gauge.
• CNC operations.
• Operations of overhead crane and jib crane.
• Forklift operations.
• Follow S.O.P. that are put in place.
• Follow all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience are required for this position.
• Must be a self-motivator and a team player. At times will need to work closely with other departments for production needs.
• Usage of correct hand tools and measuring devices to perform duties.
• Familiar with metals and their forming properties (carbon steel, aluminum, AR plate, T-1, Tuff 500).
• Must be punctual and ready to work at start of shift.
• Must have basic hand tools.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC) within 24 hours of contingent job offer. 
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds. 

Compensation

$19.00/hr-$33.00/hr DOE
