Nursing Supervisor

Job Title

This position oversees the daily operations of the statewide LTC Reimbursement Unit.

Incumbent will oversee the completion of in-depth member assessments to determine levels of care & reimbursement to long term care facilities for nursing services provided to the State's Medicaid population. Responsibilities include: referencing regulations & policies in making consistent and accurate level of care determinations, resource for members, nursing facilities, other agencies, and conducting in-service education to nursing facilities to inform staff and administration on the primary cost center/nursing care reimbursement methodologies. This includes maintaining program statistics and reports. This position is responsible for hiring and training of LTC Nurses including measurement of workforce productivity.
