Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: South Carolina RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - IV start - Circulate - Telemetry - Conscious Sedation - Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred - Meditech EMR experience preferred Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse focused on Interventional Radiology. The role is primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. The nurse will occasionally work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on call requirements. Experience in cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology is essential. The nurse will provide pre and post-procedural care to adult patients with various disease processes. Required skills include intravenous (IV) access, circulating procedures, and monitoring telemetry. Experience with conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring is advantageous. Candidates must have the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. The facility has a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Candidates with background hits or licensure actions will not be considered. This position may require floating to other units within the facility as needed. Expect to work some weekends and holidays in rotation with the staff. The nursing role will involve various interventional and diagnostic procedures. Providers must comply with all relevant protocols for infection prevention and patient care. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of complex patient situations.
