Procurement Agent

Responsibilities Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain Interacts and manages a globally dispersed supply base Places purchase orders in SAP/ERP Expedites parts’ fulfilment, by leveraging available resources (i.e. production stock, customer spares) to meet key airplane milestones Analyses data to make recommendations for potential part shortages mitigation i.e. safety stock Coordinate and partner with on-site supplier support teams concerning rework of seats Regularly reports out status to Seats and Airplane Program leadership Support program initiatives (ie. site-consolidation, storage, product protection, join verification rework and impact to seats, safety stock) Tracks and anticipates production milestones to mitigate risks (seat installation, certification, ticketing, customer activities) Proactively problem‑solves and implements process improvements Requirements 5+ years of experience in Procurement Work, Supply Chain, and/or general Business Operations Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Bachelor's degree or higher 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry Experience with multi‑tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, and phone call requests, etc.) Experience with project/program management Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10%) #J-18808-Ljbffr
