Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Group Therapy Facilitation: Conducting engaging group sessions where clients feel safe to share experiences, learn from peers, and build community. \n
- Individual Therapy Sessions: Delivering personalized counseling tailored to clients' individual feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, while assisting them in developing practical coping strategies. \n
- Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, needs, and preferences. \n
- Progress Monitoring: Utilizing assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans. \n
- Team Collaboration: Engaging with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate care effectively and discuss complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for each client. \n
Your primary focus will be young adults in the age group of 18 to 30 years, many of whom are navigating significant mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and transitional life stressors. You will help these young adults build resilience and develop the skills they need to thrive in a fast-paced world while promoting a culture of recovery and wellness.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

- A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) certification in the state of California. \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a commitment to client-centered care. \n
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. \n
Experience in a mental health setting, particularly with young adults or within outpatient programming, is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and holistic treatment approaches will be advantageous. Candidates should also have experience in developing treatment plans and utilizing behavioral health assessment tools.
Compensation and Benefits\nAlbany Health Care Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
