Agency Support Specialist The Agency Support Specialist is a role in InsureStays, a 50‑state insurance‑licensed agency and sister company of RentalGuardian. The agency focuses on partnerships with highly rated underwriters, brokers, agents, TPAs and technology providers to develop and manage insurance programs and services powered by the RentalGuardian platform. This role will support core agency functions including licensing and training, underwriting and account approval, surplus lines policy delivery, reporting and filing and compliance support. Licensing Support Become familiar with travel insurance policy delivery, service, and management, including approved materials and program descriptions Become familiar with travel retailer regulations and requirements for certifying, reporting, managing and training authorized retailers under the agency and assist with documenting related business practices and processes Become an expert in NIPR licensing process and support Support ongoing review of client websites to ensure compliance with basic rules for offering travel and damage protection products and services Underwriting Support Become familiar with program underwriters and their underwriting requirements and processes for screening applicants for coverage approval Become familiar with products and related approved materials and program descriptions Become an expert in use of proprietary software to prepare coverage, bordereaux and experience reports related to underwriting functions Assist with preparation of monthly bordereaux and agency premium payment reports Surplus Lines Policy and Reporting Support Become an expert in using proprietary and third‑party software related to surplus lines policy reporting and surplus lines tax calculation and payment through these systems Follow prescribed processes to support the timely and accurate delivery and reporting of policies and endorsements Work with accounting regarding payments as they relate to underwriting activities, surplus lines policy and tax reporting and retailer compliance Perform data entry tasks associated with the role Support other insurance processes as necessary Support department managers in the performance of ad hoc tasks and activities Qualifications Strong organization skills Strong communication skills Ability to meet the requirements of scheduled activities while balancing competing priorities Desire to progress and learn new skills Works well in a team environment A results orientated attitude Commitment to meeting the needs of fellow employees and external customers Ability to learn proprietary and third‑party software Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite U.S. work authorization Education Requirements Post high school education Experience with travel insurance and/or property and casualty insurance Insurance accounting or compliance experience preferred Type Full time Hybrid on‑site Location Hybrid Mason, Ohio Benefits Competitive pay Health Insurance: medical, dental, vision and prescription plans Health Savings Accounts Flexible Spending Account Dependent Flexible Spending Account Critical Illness Accident Retirement Savings Plan (401K) with discretionary company match Short‑and long‑term disability Company paid $25,000 life insurance Supplemental life and AD&D insurance Employee assistance program Paid holidays Paid vacation Paid volunteer time Inhabit employee discount programs Our Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all federal, state, and local laws, including providing reasonable accommodations to applicants. #J-18808-Ljbffr Inhabit®
