Tax Manager

You’re working in public accounting with ambitions to advance your career.

You’ve considered making a move to one of the top10 firms. On paper, future prospects look promising due to the number of people in the firm. But the regular 70-80 hour work weeks put you off.

A small sub-50 person could be an option. Work-life balance will be better but you have concerns that they’re going to be too small for you to make the grade to Director or Partner in future.

You’ll be joining a mid-size firm with multiple office locations across New Jersey and New York. The multi-office set-up means the culture has a ‘family-feel’ to it, and with around 500 staff across the firm, there’s lots of scope to advance to Director and Partner.

Unlike positions with the top10 firms, you’ll get plenty of variety, working with a wide range of clients (from small to international across multiple industries).
