We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Intermodal Dispatcher to join our growing logistics team. In this critical role, you will coordinate the movement of freight across multiple transportation modes (rail, truck, and container shipping) to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery for our customers. You will serve as the central point of communication between customers, carriers, rail providers, and internal teams in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations for intermodal shipments, including rail-to-truck and truck-to-rail movements
• Coordinate with trucking companies, railroads (e.g., BNSF, UP), and drayage providers to secure equipment and schedule pickups/deliveries
• Track and monitor container and trailer movements using TMS (Transportation Management System) and provide proactive status updates to customers
• Resolve service failures, delays, and other operational issues quickly and effectively
• Negotiate rates and secure capacity with carrier partners when needed
• Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and customer-specific requirements
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, demurrage, detention, and accessorial charges
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and TMS platforms
• Optimize load planning to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required
