Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized evaluations and observation methods.

Create individualized treatment plans tailored to address immediate objectives and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.

Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions that focus on communication abilities, language development, fluency, voice production, and swallowing functions.

Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to develop seamless care approaches.

Educate patients and their families to support their progress outside of therapy sessions.

Perform periodic inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring comprehensive continuity of care throughout the treatment experience.

Keep precise and prompt records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational protocols.

Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to remain updated on advancements in your field.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary within 30 days of employment commencement.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies applicable to various age groups, along with a robust understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Capability to tailor therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Solid clinical judgement and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
