Locums OB/GYN Clinic + Call Petersburg, VA Why This Role : Combination of clinic and hospital call coverage Defined coverage dates with potential for extension Supportive OB team with hospitalist and MFM support Low callback volume during call shifts Assignment Details : Start Date: May End Date: July (potential ongoing) Coverage Type: Clinic + Call Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient Schedule: Specific dates required across May, June, and July Clinic days available (no night call after clinic shifts) 24-hour call coverage Call ratio: 1:4 EMR: Epic Credentialing: 60 Äì90 days (temps possible with clean history) Requirements : Active VA license Board certification (ABOG) Clean history DEA CSR BLS NPDB self-query Clinical Details : OB/GYN hospital and clinic coverage Procedures include C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian torsion, and abnormal bleeding Labor and delivery unit with 9 beds and 20 postpartum beds Average 2 Äì3 nursery admissions per day Low callback volume ( Laborist support for unreferred patients MFM manages high-risk cases Support staff includes OB hospitalist, surgical assistants, and nursing team Compensation : Facility is accepting bids
