Catering Assistant

The Catering Assistant works with the management team in executing high-volume group orders, box meals, and delivery event setups for local clients. This hands-on role combines guest service, food safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. It is ideal for students pursuing hospitality, business, or culinary management.

Customer Communication: Act as a professional brand representative during client drop-offs, handling minor on-site adjustments or special requests.

Safety & Sanitation: Maintain clean staging and packing areas while strictly adhering to local health codes and ServSafe/food handler guidelines.

Outstanding customer service is a must, so the catering staff we hire must always meet all our customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities Of Catering Staff:

Consulting with customers about any potential changes before delivery or pick up
Transporting food to and from locations
Making sure the supplies are well-organized and stocked
Providing excellent customer service
Preparing food in a healthy and clean kitchen environment
Excellent food preparation skills
Catering experience is a plus
Great attention to detail
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
A friendly and positive attitude
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
Maintain Chick-fil-A's exceptional standards for craveable food quality.
Assist and support your Managers and Team Members as needed.
Help build our Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
Must be 18 and over
Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record
Must be able to work at least 6:00 AM- 1:00 PM
