YOUR TASKS

Forvia Hellais seeking its next great Program Buyer to join our team. The primary functionof this role is to take ownership of purchasing activities for all assigned programs.This individual will be joining a well established and growing team that ishelping to move our electronic controls group forward.

DailyResponsibilities

• Negotiate supplier frame contracts, define sourcing concept and realize sourcing activities incl. but not limited to sending RfQs, negotiating and nominating suppliers for tools and components within the material group (new projects, lifetime extensions, change management, etc.)
• Analyze the suppliers in order to identify opportunities for improvement and derive corresponding qualification measures, involving internal organizational units, in order to optimize the process chain between the supplier and Forvia Hella.
• Own and analyze all company projections and supplier bandwidth to achieve production goals
• Process company PO's and successfully negotiate contract terms.
• Achieve all required assigned project milestones
• Forge meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience conducting purchasing activities
• General computer and software skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• SAP and Ariba Purchasing module experience is preferred but not required
• Open to traveling up to 5-10 supplier per year.
• Excellent communication skills.
