This facility is a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, offering a dynamic environment for experienced RNs in the Emergency Department (ED). As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population. The ED is known for its teamwork and welcoming personalities, serving a multicultural community with over 120 languages spoken in the area. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize advanced skills and equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors. Document patient care using the Cerner documentation system. Maintain patient experience standards, including AIDET and respectful behavior. Requirements: 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting. Experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume ED (over 100,000 visits annually) preferred. ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications required prior to hire. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED and a teamwork mentality. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and the ability to adapt to the needs of the department.
