Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager

Responsibilities Safeguarding assets by managing an existing portfolio of loans secured by commercial income-producing properties Perform comprehensive underwriting by analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, lease abstracts, and pro forma projections for various asset types Calculate and analyze key real estate metrics including Net Operating Income (NOI), Debt Service, Debt Service Coverage Ratios (DSCR) and Loan-to-Value (LTV) Evaluate the underlying real estate market fundamentals Conduct in-depth analysis of individual and corporate guarantors Author clear and comprehensive credit approval memorandums Review and evaluate third-party reports Ensure borrower compliance with all loan covenants and reporting requirements Analyze and process borrower requests for modifications, leasing consents, or collateral releases Work effectively with relationship managers, credit officers, legal counsel, and clients Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience At least 2 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management or asset management Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field 2-4+ years of dedicated experience in commercial real estate credit analysis, underwriting, or asset management Proven expertise in analyzing CRE property types, like Multifamily, Industrial, Retail or Office Deep understanding of CRE valuation methodologies, interest rate hedging strategies Completion of a formal bank credit training program with a focus on real estate Proficiency in ARGUS, CoStar, and other real estate-specific software platforms Knowledge of CRE loan documentation and legal considerations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis Excellent analytical skills and situational awareness with an ability to identify and mitigate transaction-specific risks Hard Skills credit underwriting portfolio management asset management commercial real estate credit analysis CRE valuation methodologies financial modeling Net Operating Income (NOI) Debt Service Coverage Ratios (DSCR) Loan-to-Value (LTV) interest rate hedging strategies Soft Skills analytical skills situational awareness communication relationship management risk identification problem-solving Certifications & Qualifications formal bank credit training program #J-18808-Ljbffr
