Relief Veterinarian – Burbank, CA (General Practice + Flexible Scheduling)
This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and a steady GP caseload without the pressure of emergency or urgent care work in Burbank, CA.
Whether you are looking for one shift a month or a full schedule , we will match you with opportunities that fit your availability. Relief work should relieve stress — not add to it — and we structure our relief roles so you can focus on practicing great medicine in a calm, supportive environment.

Your Role
As a Relief GP Veterinarian, you will provide highquality medical and preventive care for small animals. You’ll work independently with technician support and collaborate with the clinic team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
Diagnose and treat common GP conditions
Provide preventive care, vaccinations, and client education
Utilize digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and inhouse lab equipment
Administer anesthesia and perform soft tissue surgeries (optional if preferred)
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and followup care
Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Scheduling
Shifts available on:
Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Whether you prefer occasional relief work or a consistent weekly schedule, we’ll align shifts with your availability and comfort level.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) with active veterinary license
Experience in small animal general practice
Proficiency in radiography, ultrasound, anesthesia, and general surgery
Strong communication and clientinteraction skills
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced clinical environment
