We are actively recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our world-class finance team.This role under World-Wide Operations Costing/Gross Margin will support financial and planning activities, including actual reporting, forecasting, and business analysis activities for a Semiconductor Business Group. The person coming into this role will partner with the business segments to enable actionable analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with working on End of Quarter Close requirements, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and forecast deliverables related to regular business cycles.Major ResponsibilitiesPerforms analysis on built material costs to ensure correct tool valuation compared to Bill of Materials & reconciles weeklyAnalyzes Production Order Material Variances & communicates with Operations to resolve issues identified during variance analysisProvides support to World-Wide Operations teams to resolve systemic issues related to Finance attributes which prevent transactions from processingCompletes detailed requirements for monthly / quarterly close processes including Work In Progress, Finished Goods, Deferred and Eval Inventory Performs Financial Modeling and Analysis to support Gross Margin reporting for finance executivesLeads Aged WIP Inventory Reviews & Provides reserve analysisLeads Balance Sheet Review Meetings with Finance ControllersInteracts as a direct business partner with business unit executives, delivering analysis and recommendations to guide operational and financial decisionsWorks closely with internal auditors to address SOX requirementsQualifications & PreferencesBachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, or Business-related degree preferred)3-5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting for a reputable firmStrong analytical & financial modeling skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAttention to detail. Ability to think clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teamsCuriosity to learn the business & improve upon existing processesExperience in new business intelligence technologies, tools & concepts such as SAP S4 Hana, Hadoop, Tableau, Machine Learning a strong plusMust be proactive, possess solid financial analytic skills, communication skills, and be self-directedMust work effectively with all levels of management and with various functions (finance, operations, manufacturing) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
