Industrial ElectricianCompensation: Competitive starting pay range of $35.49-$44.05 per hour, paid weeklyAvailable Shift: 2nd Shift, 12-hour, 07:00 PM -07:00 AM, 3-2-2-3Job Purpose: The Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all facility electrical systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintains PLC/HMI information systems to improve metric to meet operations goals.Maintain facility equipment original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.Oversees the maintenance of the facility's electrical assets.Conducts electrical repairs to the manufacturing equipment.Maintains maintenance records for electrical work performed.Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.Maintains excellent safety record.Maintains excellent attendance record.Performs other duties as assigned.Experience:Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.At least two (2) years of experience in electrical systems and controls.Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.Skills:Ability to work safely and to communicate with others in a professional manner.Proficient in basic computer operation and data entry; some experience with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft TeamsOrganized.Able to handle multiple tasks.Strong sense of urgency.Must have good written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate computer knowledge.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.PLC ladder diagram reading.Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams.Physical requirements:Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)Working conditions:Must be proficient in electrical and controls knowledge; Allen Bradley experience preferred.Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and work in a hot/cold environment.Must have a proficient knowledge of hand, power and diagnostic tools.Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.Education:High School Diploma or GEDTechnical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology, electro- mechanical engineering technology, etc., preferred.Company BenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
