Counter Sales Representative

Power-Flo Technologies Moonachie is hiring a Counter Sales Representative to support customers purchasing electrical products.

With nearly a century of experience serving the OEM, Industrial, Commercial, and MRO markets in New Jersey, Power-Flo Technologies is committed to building long-term partnerships through knowledgeable service. Salary Range: $17.00 To $24.00 Hourly (depending on direct industry and product experience)

Opportunities for Growth

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by deadlines.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
  • Create sales material to present to customers.
  • Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge, information, and promotions. Suggest alternative or additional product when appropriate.
  • Pick and fill orders when appropriate.
  • Ensure that orders leaving the warehouse are checked and accompanied by the appropriate documentation.
  • Purchase special order material, for customers, as per company procedure. Expedite open orders.
  • Process product returns, per company procedure assuring, that all documentation is collected.
  • Assist in maintaining the counter and product display area ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
  • Assist warehouse, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years training or experience in the electrical industry.
  • Knowledge of electrical products.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Deadline and detail oriented.
  • A valid and clean driver's license to travel to local vendors as needed.
