A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality, within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment and (ii) Work with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements; contribute to completion of functional specifications; create technical design specifications.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality, within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) environmentWork with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements; contribute to completion of functional specifications; create technical design specificationsDevelop changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelinesCreate deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentationUnit test application changes to ensure quality of work; analyze, debug, and resolve defects in applicationsSupport production systems; proactively monitor systems to enable smooth operations; work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requestsDevelop web applications and web services using Salesforce, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce or other web development technologies such as SOAP, REST, and XMLDrive optimization of Chamberlain Group's Salesforce.com Cloud workflows and processes. Continually revise and streamline production processes to increase efficiencies and/or effectivenessComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalentSalesforce Developerand Experience Cloud Certification preferred and/or equivalent Salesforce Developer experience3+years experience as an application developer in a SFDC environment3+ years experience with SFDC development using: Lightning Web Components, Visual Workflows, Visual Force Pages/Components, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex (Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Data Loader); Salesforce Lightning; Experience Builder; HTML/CSS/Javascript; JAVAIntermeditate Flow building skill setGood project management skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience working with technology integrators, IT resourcesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong technical understanding of SFDC development tools and technologies including LWCs, Visual Workflows, Visual Force Pages/Components, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex (Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Data Loader); Salesforce Lightning; Experience Builder; HTML/CSS/Javascript; JAVAStrong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.Working knowledge of Agile software development processes and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment.Solid requirements analysis skills and ability to identify alternatives for solutions to business problems.Solid data analysis skills and ability to translate business reporting needs into specific data requirements.Ability to build relationships with stakeholders; collaborate effectively.Ability to estimate work efforts consistently and accurately; manages own time to meet estimates and project deadlinesThe pay range for this position is $76,600.00 - $144,700.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
