About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Executive to join our New Business Sales Team, focused on our Life Sciences vertical. If you would like to work at a fast-paced company that is experiencing high growth, keep reading!

What You'll Do

You'll run the entire new business sales cycle within the Life Sciences market selling into pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and related life sciences organizations. Your outbound effort will be complemented by inbound leads and inside sales support as you research prospective customers, develop outreach strategies, identify prospects, demo decision makers, and close business. • Research, identify, and connect with individuals and organizations within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and life sciences companies who would be strong prospects for Definitive Healthcare solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of how Life Sciences organizations commercial, market access, sales operations, and business development teams use healthcare commercial intelligence and data to inform go-to-market strategy
• Partner with internal Marketing and Inside Sales teams to follow-up on all leads within your assigned Life Sciences territory
• Build and nurture relationships with prospects and key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and the C-Suite to identify opportunities and secure new business
• Manage all facets of complex sales cycles, often involving multiple stakeholders and data-driven buying decisions
• Conduct online product demonstrations tailored to Life Sciences use cases
• Close new business consistently at or above quota level
• Accurately forecast opportunities and update the CRM
• Stay current on Life Sciences industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations relevant to prospects' buying decisions

What You'll Bring

• BA or BS degree
• 2+ years of individual quota-carrying/closing sales experience
• Experience selling data, analytics, or a product with a significant data component required
• Experience selling into the Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry strongly preferred
• Documented evidence that you are a top producer
• Expertise in delivering product demonstrations via the web
• Experience in a cold-calling sales environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• A powerful work ethic with tons of energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 $90,000 per year, which represents the base pay the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual pay within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible to participate in a company bonus or commission plan. All employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited paid time off, and participation in the company's 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
