Do you have a high energy level and love working with children? We are looking for dedicated, responsible teachers to join our team!

Starting wage of $17.00-$20.00/hr, based on previous experience and/or degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teachers work to ensure compliance with Kiddie Academy's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning!

• Assists and supervises children during ALL activities
• Follows bottle and diapering schedules and procedures
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on their child's development and address any concerns or questions
• Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working with toddler age children in a childcare or daycare setting (2 year)
• Associate or Bachelors degree in related field, preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices
• Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18yrs, or older
• Degree in early childhood education preferred
• 1-2 years of documented childcare/classroom experience if no degree
• U.S. work authorization, if applicable

• NSOR
• PA State Police
• PA child abuse
• Mandatory Reporter Training
