The Education Coordinator directly supervises ELA and STEM Activity Specialists and supports their development as educators through collaborative planning, lesson-plan review, regular observations, coaching, modeling, and professional development. Working closely with program leadership and instructional staff, the Education Coordinator helps guide the academic curriculum and establishes consistent expectations for high-quality, hands-on learning experiences. The Education Coordinator also strengthens homework support by training and coaching Group Leaders and Youth Workers in effective academic-support practices and promotes the integration of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) principles throughout educational programming.
