Job Description Greetings! LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly proficient Medical Billing Financial Counselor to join one of their excellent healthcare organizations located in the Tucson, AZ area! What You'll Be Doing Provide guidance to patients regarding their financial responsibilities pertaining to the services in the facility. Assess patient's financial abilities and determine their ability to pay for services. Advise and educate patients on insurance benefits and financial liability. Collect payments or negotiate payment arrangements when needed. Perform accurate and timely verification of insurance benefits. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare collections or a related field required. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime required.
