Sourcing Specialist

What You'll Be Doing

Hargrove is seeking a Sourcing Representative supporting the Strategic Sourcing team in the execution of capital project procurement activities for a role in West Houston area.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Support competitive bid events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) for capital projects.

• Coordinate sourcing activities from bid package issuance through purchase order placement.

• Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support sourcing strategies.

• Coordinate technical and commercial bid clarifications with suppliers.

• Prepare bid evaluations and commercial summaries.

• Track procurement status, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.

• Support invoice processing, issue resolution, and project reporting.

• Assist the Strategic Sourcing team with negotiations and other sourcing initiatives as needed.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience using SAP for procurement and purchasing activities preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
