About the Role
ZenTech Consulting is hiring an experienced machinist to run precision turning equipment in a high-volume manufacturing setting. As a Swiss-Type CNC & Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Machinist, you’ll set up, operate, and keep production on track across Swiss-style and multi-spindle platforms.
A Day in the LifeYou arrive to your assigned shift and review the day’s production run. You select material and tooling, load the machine, then dial in offsets to hit tight tolerances. Throughout the run, you monitor part quality, make measured adjustments, and document results—keeping safety and consistency top of mind.
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss, multi-spindle, and automatic screw machines.
- Work on platforms such as Yang, Euroturn, Davenport, Eurotech Triple Turret, STAR , or comparable equipment.
- Load/unload material and tooling; verify stable operation during production runs.
- Apply offsets and minor adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and throughput.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision metrology tools.
- Inspect parts to ensure tolerances and surface finish meet spec.
- Troubleshoot tooling, machine, or quality issues and correct promptly.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Hands-on experience with Swiss, multi-spindle, or automatic screw machines .
- Background on Yang, Euroturn, Davenport, Eurotech Triple Turret, STAR , or similar equipment (strongly preferred).
- Blueprint literacy and solid understanding of machining tolerances.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, changeovers, feeds/speeds, and machine offsets.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently in a production manufacturing environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift .
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience and machine knowledge.
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift
