About the Role We're looking for a curious, detail-driven self-starter who loves finding the story in the numbers. The ideal Controller thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, communicates well across teams, and takes ownership like it's their own business. As Controller, you'll lead all accounting operations — from close cycles and financial reporting to audit management and team leadership — while acting as the go-to point of contact for internal and external financial reporting. What You'll Do Own general ledger, AP, AR/customer billing, and commission reporting Run full month-end close cycles, including balance sheet reconciliations Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for executives and investors Generate client billing files from Excel data extracts Analyze financial performance and identify process improvement opportunities Lead accounting integration for acquired entities Manage the annual external audit and liaise with tax accountants Build and develop a high-performing accounting team Partner with business unit leaders on financial trends and KPIs Support the CFO with MD&A and board presentation materials Maintain compliance with accounting and financial controls Process bi-weekly payroll What You Bring 5+ years of accounting experience Solid grasp of U.S. GAAP Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Fintech or financial services background a plus M&A experience a big plus QuickBooks familiarity a plus Sharp analytical mind with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on style Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial environment High energy, high ambition — ready to grow with the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
