Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact license and prior ED specialty experience. Details Emergency Department setting within a hospital Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) Uses Epic for charting May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Requirements Active RN license (CO or compact) required Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NRP as appropriate for the unit ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred ASN required; BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with a firm document due date Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
