What You’ll Do
As a Security Systems Technician, you’ll install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of low-voltage security systems, including:
- Security & Burglar Alarm Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Panic, Hold-Up & Wandering Alarm Systems
Additional responsibilities include
- Installing, programming, testing, and servicing systems
- Troubleshooting wiring and system issues
- Reading diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Ensuring installations meet codes and standards
- Communicating with customers, contractors, and team members
- Participating in a rotating on-call schedule
- Occasional overnight travel during weekday projects

- Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record

- Ability To Work At Heights & In Confined Spaces
- Must Be Drug Free
- No Felonies or Serious Misdemeanors
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ Year Field Experience
- NICET Certifications
- Minnesota PLT License
- Networking / IT Experience
- Experience With Low Voltage, Alarm, CCTV, Or Access Control Systems
