Breast Imaging Radiologist (Hybrid & Bonus Opportunity)The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a nationally recognized multidisciplinary oncology team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice within a state-of-the-art academic cancer center dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and advancing the future of breast cancer detection and care.The successful candidate will join a highly collegial team of dedicated breast imagers working alongside breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and community outreach teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered breast imaging services. With continued expansion of breast imaging services across Western New York, including new dedicated breast imaging centers planned for 2027, this role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to program growth, innovation, and community impact.This position is ideal for a radiologist who values multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical excellence, advanced imaging technology, and compassionate patient care within a mission-driven academic environment.What You'll Do:Provide expert interpretation across a full spectrum of breast imaging modalitiesPerform and interpret digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI studiesConduct image-guided breast procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided core biopsiesPerform radioactive seed localizations and support coordinated surgical planningDeliver high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging care within a multidisciplinary oncology environmentCollaborate closely with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and supportive care teamsParticipate in multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, and coordinated care planningPartner with Roswell Park outreach initiatives focused on improving breast cancer screening participation within the communityFoster strong working relationships across departments and clinical teamsSupport the continued expansion of Roswell Park's breast imaging services and satellite imaging centersContribute to innovative imaging initiatives and advancements in breast cancer detection and diagnosisParticipate in academic, quality improvement, and operational initiatives supporting departmental growthFoster a culture aligned with High Reliability Organization principles emphasizing excellence, accountability, patient safety, and teamworkAbout the Department:The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center includes more than 30 clinical radiology faculty and seven dedicated breast imaging specialists practicing within a highly collaborative oncologic imaging environment.
