Job Description:This position is accountable for the preparation and administration of radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Check out this video and learn more and discover the “Power of We.”As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.Perform IV puncture, and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.Prepare exam room, communicate with the patient, obtain informed consent when necessary, and request an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient.Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.Minimum QualificationsAssociate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training.Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry.Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.Preferred QualificationsAt least one (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.No Additional Description AvailableLocation:Intermountain Health Lutheran HospitalWork City:Wheat RidgeWork State:ColoradoScheduled Weekly Hours:20The hourly range for this position is listed below.
