Refrigeration Engineer

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – CO₂ Refrigeration Telford & Surrounding Areas £50,000 - £53,000+ Door-to-Door (Higher for CO₂ & Ammonia Experience) We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering team covering the Birmingham region. This role will primarily focus on industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, with a strong emphasis on CO₂ refrigeration. Ammonia experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential, as we are keen to speak with engineers who have solid CO₂ knowledge and are looking to further develop their skillset. Responsibilities Service, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems Working on CO₂ refrigeration plant across a variety of customer sites Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdown attendance Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Participation in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4, expected to improve as the team grows) Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Requirements Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience Strong CO₂ refrigeration knowledge and experience Valid F-Gas qualification Full UK driving licence Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills Ammonia experience and/or qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential Package £50,000 - £53,000 (based on experience) Higher salaries available for engineers with both CO₂ and ammonia experience 40‑hour week Door-to-door pay £225 standby payment per week Overtime Private Medical Insurance Death in Service cover Fully equipped van Company phone and laptop Ongoing training and development opportunities Genuine career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Contact Alice at Pure Talent Group for more information. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pure Talent Group Ltd
