Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol in Monroe, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for customers, associates, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers exceptional service.

- Provide customer service to clients, customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site-specific procedures and provide clear information to responding personnel when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
