Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Work in a 39-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 154-bed hospital
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Floating required on weekends
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited and includes a Chest Pain Center
• Hospital offers orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health services, along with 11 multi-specialty physician clinics
• Scrub color: RN navy blue, CNA grey
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
