Responsibilities Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste across all housekeeping areas. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor. Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction. Deliver housekeeping supplies (e.g., linens, cots) to guests in a timely and efficient manner. Collect newspapers and other items for recycling. Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens; stock linen storage and deliver supplies. Clean public areas (restrooms, lobby, vending areas, storage) on assigned floors. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms, transport them to laundry. Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; vacuum hallways, sweep stairwells, wax floors. Assist with deep‑cleaning projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Some housekeeping experience and speaking English preferred. Must be able to: Carry or lift items up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds. Stand, move, and handle equipment frequently. Bend, stoop, and kneel often. Strong communication skills for interaction with guests and staff. Reading and writing abilities for assignments and checklists. Might be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Benefits The hourly pay range for this role is $25.92 to $32.40 in Los Angeles, California. Pay will vary based on education, experience, shift, and other factors.
