Foreman

Coordinate with other construction teams and contractors, ensuring that work is completed according to project plans and specifications. Supervise and mentor a team of workers, assign tasks, and providing guidance as needed. Interpret electrical blueprints, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Must be knowledgeable of all safety rules and make sure they are followed for the safety of the crew and public. Supervise the set up and operation of all equipment. Know all basic transformer hook-ups (single and three phase) Supervise the cover‑up of the work zone and supervise safe switching operations. Read and understand prints and specs. Plan and lay out a job for productive and safe operation. Fill out and complete a pre‑job briefing. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Requires Class A level experience installing and maintaining underground power lines. Valid CDL A is required. First Aid Certification is required. Competency in CPR and pole top rescue is required. Ability to work at heights of 60 feet or more preferred. Experience with digger derricks, bucket trucks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility crews is required. Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks. Must be able to pass a physical examination. Able and willing to travel long distances on short notice. Able and willing to work for extended periods in various locations. Able and willing to work in all types of weather environments including inclement weather. Able and willing to work overtime when required. Understanding of the utility industry and operations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organization and time management skills. High level of professionalism and integrity. Excellent leadership and management skills. Ability to make decisions. Ability to process and analyze data. Working Conditions Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time. Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers. Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
