Location: Waterville, ME 04901 - Waterville healthcare job in central Maine with river views and easy access to outdoor recreation.
Assignment Type: Travel (Travel LPN)
Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) - long-term care nurse role
Start Date: May 1, 2026
End Date: July 3, 2026
Duration: 9 weeks
Shift: 12-hour days (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $920 - $970

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Active, unencumbered LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license - must meet state requirements for Maine
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long-term care or a similar LTC/skilled nursing environment
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (travel LPN schedule)
Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Experience with medication administration, documentation/charting, and resident assessments preferred

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow med-pass policies
Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions; report changes to RNs and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized care plans
Support residents with activities of daily living and promote a respectful, person-centered environment
Maintain infection control standards and follow facility policies for safety and compliance
