Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 21, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring SC or compact RN license and 2 years of ICU/stepdown experience.Details\n \n Work in a 12-bed ICU within a hospital setting\n 1:4 patient ratios\n Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a, with holiday rotation\n Required to work every other weekend\n No on-call responsibilities\n Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, with agency staff floated first\n Epic charting system used (experience preferred)\n Requirements\n \n Active SC RN license or compact license required in hand prior to start\n BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)\n NIHSS certification preferred\n Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or stepdown experience required\n Driver's license and SSN required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and renal cases\n Skills such as arterial line management, ventilator care, central/PICC line management, and blood product administration are utilized\n Royal blue scrubs required\n Free parking available\n First-time travelers considered if they have prior ICU and/or stepdown experience\n Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for 1 year before returning as a traveler\n Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted\n Block scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed\n All requested time off must be submitted upfront and is subject to facility approval\n Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-749187.
