Role & Responsibilities Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens. Ensures accuracy and reliability of test results, adhering to laboratory standards and protocols. Maintains proper documentation, calibration, and quality control procedures. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide timely and precise laboratory data. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or related field preferred. Certification eligibility or certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) is required or preferred depending on pathway. Experience in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, or urinalysis in accredited labs is advantageous. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and quality assurance. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Duties Perform and verify laboratory tests accurately. Follow established procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Document all testing activities thoroughly. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. Additional Requirements Relevant certifications (e.g., ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) are required or preferred.
