We are partnering with a well-established, growing multispecialty medical clinic with seven locations across the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California to find a skilled and motivated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R) to join their team in one of their locations. This is a rare opportunity for a physiatrist who values clinical autonomy, a manageable outpatient caseload, and genuine work-life balance with no hospital rounds, no nights, and no on-call.

Position Details

• Setting: Outpatient Multispecialty Clinic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Occupational Medicine / Interventional Pain Management
• Patient Population: Working-age adults musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurologic injuries across diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
• Cases: Not required to do interventional cases. Most of the procedures do consist of a variety of injections, such as joint, ultra sound guided, PRP injections, but interventional spine procedures are not something we are set up to do in house.
• Schedule: Full-Time (preferred) | Part-Time available | MondayFriday | Weekends available if desired
• Hours: No nights, no weekends required, no on-call
• Caseload: 1622 patients per day
• Available Locations: Sacramento, CA
• Compensation: Competitive DOE+ RVU incentive program
• Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

You'll work hand-in-hand with a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver personalized treatment plans that restore function, alleviate pain, and promote long-term wellness for working-age adults recovering from occupational and musculoskeletal injuries. It's 100% outpatient no hospital rounds, no urgent or inpatient care, no on-call duties, and no weekends. The practice offers flexible scheduling and a strong administrative support infrastructure, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality, compassionate care without the burden of excessive administrative work. There are also opportunities for growth for attending physicians as the organization continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and pain management treatment plans
• Apply evidence-based physical medicine and rehabilitation care to a caseload of 1622 patients per day
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across occupational medicine, interventional pain management, and internal medicine
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with applicable standards
• Participate in the continued growth and development of the PM&R service line

Requirements

• California medical license required (must be active by start of employment)
• Current DEA registration required
• Completed Specialist or Fellowship Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in PM&R a plus
