Overview Cath Lab Tech – Radiology, Rochester, New York, United States. This travel assignment begins 05/26/2026 and runs for several weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $3,032 to $3,099. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 4x10-hour days; core schedule is Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30, with on-call requirements. On-site responsibilities include scrub and circulator support in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities Provide scrub and circulator support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations. Assist with PCI/PTCA, stent placement, device implant/closure, and IABP placement/removal; support rotablator atherectomy as needed. Maintain sterile technique, equipment setup, and cath lab readiness; ensure proper preparation of all supplies and devices. Monitor patient status during procedures; assist with hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life‑threatening arrhythmias. Assist with implantable devices and associated procedures; participate in post‑procedure care and patient transport as required. Document procedures in the charting system (EPIC experience is a strict requirement) and contribute to accurate, timely records. Requirements Active New York state license in hand to submit. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ARRT(R) preferred; RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT (facility limits to one RCIS on staff). Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in the cath lab or related interventional setting; first‑time travelers accepted. Education: EPIC charting experience required. Skill set: Cardiac catheterization, diagnostic/interventional procedures, sterile technique, and ability to work in a hospital cath lab environment. Logistics: On‑call responsibilities required; candidates must be able to float to related cath lab areas as needed.
