Shop Coordinator - Mobile Fleet

Shop CoordinatorThe Shop Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining all warehouse operations and all logistical functions for Placentia, Downey, San Diego and Chino. Will be the main point of contact to create synergies between warehouse operations and the Service Coordinator teams to ensure supply chain efficiencies are created and maintained.Essential job functions:Work closely with all Area Service Managers to ensure all necessary logistical and inventory needs are meet by the required timelinesManage the on demand and in-house inventory levels to minimize liability and holding costsManage and maintain the inbound flow of parts returns including cores to ensure timely returns and credits dueMonitor and assist as necessary to kit and process future job requirements, spot check jobs kitted for accuracy by other team membersPerform necessary site visits, as necessaryEnsure the general housekeeping of all locations are always maintainedAssign tasks as necessary to additional warehouse staffEnsure MMI remains in compliance with all state, local and OSHA hazmat requirements at all timesEngage in proactive and open dialog throughout the workday to ensure all levels in the organization are current as it relates to warehouse and logistic needsManage the GoShare delivery process to expedite parts on demand to field techniciansMust be aligned with company Core Values:Be Professional – Safe, Compliant, Reliable Behavior, Trained, Equipped, Certified Technicians, Clean, Organized and Impressive People & EquipmentDo The Right Thing – Honesty, Integrity, Trustworthy: We tell the truth, We act in truth, We do what we sayBe Driven – Hardworking, Ambitious, Growth Minded: We get the job done, We're hungry for opportunity, We elevate and improveCompete to win..Together – We compete to be the best at what we do (Mobile On-Site Fleet Maintenance); Competition is fun, it challenges us and makes us better, and we want to win as a teamQualifications & Requirements:A minimum of 2 years supply chain or warehouse experienceClean driving record and responsible and reliable to handle / manage company's assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously and continually.Able to articulate clearly and effectively with technicians, suppliers and all internal MMI Team Members ManagementAbility to ask the "right" questions to obtain the desired resultsMust possess a high level of accuracy, initiation, follow up and ingenuityAbility to navigate a wide range of systems and supplier programsAbility to manage the on-demand delivery processRequires the Following Skills:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjust to changes as they ariseExcellent communication, both oral and written.
